The mating of Vivant over the Darco/Voltaire mare Altes has been very successful.

This colt is calm like his grandsire, close coupled but strongly muscled; not too heavy.

Now being campaigned by Amanda Madigan,Altes has been competing very successfully at Grand Prix level and has stepped up this season to  World Cup starts. She is sharp in front and has a spectacular back-end. With Darco’sinfluence in her pedigree Altes has a great attitude to work, but is also a sensitive, responsive mare.

Her offspring are Cortez (x Conquistaor, owned by Anna McGregor), Altador (by Conquistador, owned by Rhys Stones) and this season’s foal Volta, a very handsome colt by Vivant.
